Crystal Philosophy from Buddy the Elf

Elves can have a lot in common with CREATE YOUR STYLE with Swarovski Ambassadors.

Elves say:

“We elves try to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.” – Buddy, from the movie Elf

CREATE YOUR STYLE Ambassadors have a similar sensibility (although, I’m not sure any of them would share it exactly the way I do):

“We (Ambassadors) try to stick to the (many) main jewelry groups: strung crystal, crystal as a focal, crystal with wire, crystal surrounded by wool felt, crystal stitched in peyote, crystal crocheted en masse, crystal as pendants, crystal, crystal, crystal . . . !”

And, it sure shows in the 30 projects published in Crystal Jewelry Inspiration from the CREATE YOUR STYLE Ambassadors!

Here’s the version of crystal “candy” I did for Crystal Jewelry Inspiration:

We’re ecstatic about our new effort—the first collaboration between us all. It features projects from all our talented designers from North America (that’s Canada and Mexico, too) along with a gallery from our global partners from Germany, Spain, _____.

We owe a huge thank you to Karin Van Voorhees (Kalmbach Publishing Company), and Kim Paquette and Nicole Harper (Swarovski North America) for (as usual) keeping us Crystal Cats all herded in the same direction (sometimes we’re over-the-top with crystal exuberance)!
